Mark “Modz” Modzelewski is a Theatre Director, Actor and Language Teacher from the USA. In NYC he studied Theatre Performance at Fordham University and earned his BA. After hustling as an actor, he began directing and teaching. He then completed an MFA in Theatre Directing from the University of Essex (East 15 Acting School) in the UK. Additionally, he attended International House, London where he received a CELTA (Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Other stops include studying Stanislavski and Meyerhold at ГИТИС in Moscow and Balinese Arts at ISI in Denpasar, Bali. As a teacher he has worked in the USA, UK and BG and as a director his work has been seen in Los Angeles, Phoenix, New Haven (all USA), London, Cardiff (both UK), Moscow and Denpasar.
Modz has worked with literally thousands of students over the years and has taught theatre, technical theatre and English at schools in the USA, UK and BG. Along the way, he has also worked at after-school programs, summer camps and as an arts-in education coordinator for a school district. He considers himself fortunate to still be working in education and theatre, two fields that he is passionate about.

What hats does she wear for the company?
Scenographer, Costume Designer & Prop Maker
Gabi holds a BA in Production Arts Design from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and an MA in Scenography from University of the Arts London – Wimbledon College of Arts. She has worked as a set and costume designer, art director, visual artist, concept artist, matte painter, model maker and painter. Her work has been seen in England, Scotland, Poland, Ireland and, her native, Bulgaria. She is happy to bring her international experience and enthusiasm back to her native Bulgaria and is looking forward to training the next generation of artists and sharing her talents on the stages of Sofia! When not doing theatre you can find her working as a CGI/ 3D environment artist.

What hats does she wear for the company?
Costume Designer, Scenographer & Prop Maker
Born in the small town of Silistra, Adi Nedkova finished her primary education there, but then moved to Sofia at the age of 14. She studied Textile Design at the National High School of Applied Arts. The love for theater and performing arts brought her to continue her education at National Art Academy ( Bulgaria) in Stage and costume design. She also has a Masters degree in Stage and Costume design for Musical Theater and Opera.
While studying, she had the chance to cooperate with students from the National Musical Academy in titles such as La bohème, Cosi fan Tutte, and The Tempest. Currently her primary career is as a multi-media artist developing in 3D visual products and worlds. Her passion for costume design has also led her to create a paper costume, which she will introduce at the BIENNIAL OF CONTEMPORARY PAPER ART 2026 as part of the Sofia Paper Art Fest.
